The site location, which is in one of the most important and luxurios neighborhoods in Tehran, and physical planning (consists of commercial, official and residential functions) were two basic factors in the design process.
The primary mass was divided into three blocks to create interior courtyards that shape entries and supply daylight for interior spaces. The central courtyards and middle spaces work as buffer zones with opening and closing the ceiling valves in different seasons, to moderate the temperature and to decrease energy consumption.
The vertical circulation (consists of staircases and elevators) was located at the end of the courtyards and beside the linkage bridge as the horizontal circulation, that connects three blocks to each others.
Furthermore, wooden shaders with old texture as double skin were used in the main façades to moderate the sunlight in the interior spaces, in order to unify the form and to make a unique mass in the texture.
