The base wall was a surface with 200 m length and 6 m height, that in the first step was divided into horizontal parts to create human scale and to look shorter. In the next step, by creating dents in longitudinal sections, the 2d surface was transformed to the 3d surface.

Then, the horizontal strips were divided into vertical parts that create (50*50) pieces. The names of 46 martyrs (total: 220000 names) will be carved on each modular surface (total: 4800 pieces) by using traditional calligraphy.

The 3d created surface, shape different attractive modes of light and shadow in front of the direct sunlight during the day. Furthermore, by lighting inside dents, some unique views will be created at nights that have a symbolic meaning about the martyrs.
